Hello guys! Well it has been freezing again in London, meaning me and Joe have not left the house much at all this weekend. Apart from heading to the gym and going out to take this set of photos, we have stayed warm and cozy in our little house. That is why I only ventured down the road to take this lot of images with one outfit this week.
On my way home from work on Friday I popped into Zara to check out what they had left in the sale and found this black velvet blazer that had dropped from £89.99 to £20! I literally took one look at the shop assistant when she told me the price and ran straight to till with it. Not going to lie I wouldn’t have bought it normally at full price but in the sale I thought it’s rude not to. So here I decided to style it up with another little find this fur trim houndstooth pattern jacket from a sample sale at work.
In the past I have been a pure sucker for a sale, buying anything that says half price because it looks like a good deal. But since I started to think about what I actually wear in my wardrobe I now often stop myself from buying just anything in the sales. I have to really think about what items the piece would go with and can I justify the price. With this velvet blazer I had actually made a Pinterest board of velvet items and I believe if you buy the right items from a trend you can wear them any time of year. Let me know if you like this layered look for daytime with this velvet blazer.
