With the tiny glimmer of summer last week I took advantage of the sunshine and managed to take photos of this utility jumpsuit. The sunset gave this perfect red haze, that I have only seen when on holiday. It makes life so much easier and happier when the weather is on your side! The haze perfectly compliments this stone coloured utility jumpsuit and worn with my frayed denim jacket (my new favourite item) it gives a contrast colour palette. From studying the catwalks I have seen the Safari/Utility trend raise its head again, with lots of soft kahki colours, textured fabrics and loose fitting clothing. Which is obviously great if you do actually go on safari but for me the utility trend is a great way to style it out at the office in the summer. I love the boiler suit look of this jumpsuit and in this super soft rayon base, it gives the fabric a soft drape to the tie waist. I would never normally go for a collarless style but this jumpsuit stood out for me with the concealed placket to the front and the tie detail at the waist. Let me know if are feeling the Utility trend.
