We are still in a transitional state with the time of year and with that brings up the question, what should I wear?! I find this time of year so hard as one day the temperature drops by 5 degrees meaning you are thinking of wearing your new winter jumper, but risk it with just a t-shirt and you end up freezing all day. Then the next day it is hotter than the sun and you are that idiot in work sweating in jeans. Last week was unseasonably hot for this time of year but I really didn't feel like wearing my summer clothes, mainly because I had worn them all season long. I am really ready for a change so I challenged myself to put together the perfect transitional outfit taking me from summer to winter.
The whole outfit is based around my grey stripe trousers, these have been a great pair in my summer work wardrobe, a real versatile piece that pretty much goes with anything in my wardrobe. Grey is always a colour that I am drawn when shopping, I actually own about 10 different grey t-shirts in slightly different shades! Another basic colour I love for more of a feminine touch to an outfit is nude. Here this nude t-shirt is made of a lightweight mesh jersey that gives a beautiful drape in an oversized boyfriend t-shirt shape. Teamed together they give the perfect look for a trans outfit and then to finish the outfit off add in the washed denim jacket and metallic silver bag which brings the outfit together. Let me know your thoughts on this pastel look.
P.S. These photos were taken up in the Sky Gardens in the Walkie Talkie building.
