THE COLOUR GREEN
I am really enjoying where I have taken my style for the last couple of posts, and the same goes for this & Other Stories dress. After spotting this dress on Monikh's Instagram looking very stylish, I loved how she had mixed both smart and casual in one look by wearing a pair of trainers. It's such a versatile piece that I can see so many ways to style up.
As well as loving the midi length and loose feel of the dress, I was also drawn to the dark forest green colour running through the print. If the key bright colours for this season are just too much for you, forest green can be the trend colour for your wardrobe. This evergreen shade was prominent across catwalks such as Chloe and Rochas and is fast becoming a classic. Here I have complimented the paisley dress with this Paul's Boutique luxe top handle bag in a forest green shade. This bag is small yet sturdy, fitting all my essentials in for a night out. I really like how this bag can be carried with just the top handle, like here, or for more of a casual look add the adjustable strap like here. Such a beautiful coloured bag that I can't wait to wear more of!
I wore this dress for the ERDEMxHM catwalk show, dressing it up slightly with these black mules. I still can't get enough of mules and being in the sunshine for a week meant I could pull all my summer pairs out and purchase this new pair by Next. Which will be perfect for the coming winter months when I want more of a practical look. Here they compliment this paisley pattern dress perfectly.
Let me know if you are loving the forest green colours? And your thoughts on the dress and the bag.
