One of the reasons I started this blog was to have creative control of what I put out to you in my blog posts. This is my little space in the fashion world, where I can be myself and work in my own way, putting together outfits using what I already own and mixing it with seasonal trends that fit within my style. I can't deny that I love to shop though! You guys know that every fashion blogger bloody loves to shop! But from shopping since the age of 16, I now know to do my research first as it helps to narrow down what areas are missing from your wardrobe. In my previous post, I picked out four areas I am loving for spring summer and that I wanted to inject into my clothing collection. One area I have seen other bloggers feature last year is mules or slip on shoes. I must confess I am drawn to them every time I am shopping online. I will always check a shoe section out whether it's online or in store.
So here we have these mustard suede slip-on flats from Zara. The design, colour and fabric completely sold them to me but also the fact there was only one left in my size. Knowing that an item could completely sell out makes me want and buy the item. Absolute sucker! Anyway here we are and I have teamed them with these gingham pants and this crisp white shirt. Like I said I love putting together outfits and this outfit has been my favourite look of the year so far. I think partly because I got to bare my ankle out but mostly for wearing colour heading into spring. How do you guys plan for the coming season? Do you plan what you want to add into your wardrobe, I would love to know.
