STOPPING GIRL-ON-GIRL HATE
I have just come back from a girly trip to Cannes for a friends 30th birthday. We are all slowly growing up; gone are the days of partying every night until 4 o'clock! Now we spend our days taking in the sights and culture during the day and in the evenings enjoying each other's company, which as we were in the South of France meant drinking a lot of beautiful rose wine.
It has been a while since I've had a girls holiday and it really reminded me how amazing it was to spend time with such a great group of friends. Laughing about old times and about new experiences we had had on this holiday. It really struck a cord at how we all supported each other with no questions asked. We have all gone through different things but are all still there for each other as good girlfriends, instead of questioning and bringing our friends down we need to support our fellow girlfriends.
It's really a shame in this day and age girl-on-girl hate still happens in some form. I have witnessed this on social media from reading comments left on a very popular bloggers channel and now it's even happening between celebrities. We are a female generation that should be celebrating the achievements of our fellow girlfriends in life. From experience, hate and bullying from one girl to another is now easy to spot and anyone that wants to hate on another girl should be kept at arms length.
I really love that 'Girl Gang' is trending across social media currently and positive slogans/quotes are being retweeted. We need to support your fellow female! I certainly embrace this mentality, because a compliment never looked so good.
I would love to know your thoughts on this post, and please.. if you do anything today, help give some positivity to another girl in your life :)
