Spring/Summer is just around the corner and with the shops already stocking their first collection for Spring, I thought I would give you guys an update of what to look for when thinking about your summer wardrobe and key items.
The bucket bag is emerging as the top bag shape for spring. The drawstring bucket bag dominated the S/S 15 catwalks and was featured in a variety of shows. It is a versatile style that can add a little edge to accessorise classic, grown-up looks and the ability to go from day to evening. Look out for minature shapes / textured materials / studs or patches in various colours.
The Seventies have been a big inspiration for Spring/Summer, with key designers like Saint Laurent taking the most influence from the Seventies. Look out for leather patchwork skirts / suede / paisley prints / bell sleeves and trousers / fringing details / fedora hats / chunky heels / studs and eyelet embellishment.
Chokers have been around since last Spring within the youthful 90's trend focusing on velevt, ribbon and leather bands, but this Spring the trend has evolved to more sophisticated and polished detailing. Look out for sleek metals / transparent plastics / crystal details / pewter chains / unique materials / chunky styles.
