Hey guys! I'm back with a new outfit, featuring two of my favourite things - denim and the colour red! This spring season sees bold colours such as red coming straight off the catwalk, onto the high street and then making its way into my wardrobe. As you might have already seen on my Instagram I have fallen in love with a beautiful pair of red suede boots from Topshop and now feel inspired to inject more red into my wardrobe. Red is a colour I have shied away from in the past, mainly because it's a colour that looks better with a tan and let's be honest in the winter you don't always feel like tanning.. but as last weekend proved spring is nearly sprung so I put together this red ruffle crop top with two of my favourite denim pieces.
I have been looking forward to spring so I can bring out this denim jacket again, last weekend I decided to create a fun colour blocking outfit using three strong colours. I took the double denim idea and added in this red ruffle top for a different twist on this nineties trend. The indigo jeans are an old pair of mom jeans from Topshop but I have found some new denim pieces I am loving below. The red ruffle top is from Zara, it is a store I always look to when shopping for the season and they have yet to disappoint me. They are definitely loving the colour clash of red and pink for spring, which is a trend I love for spring summer. I have picked out a few of my favourite pieces from their new collection below. I would love to know your thoughts on the colour red and if you are planning experimenting with colour clashing or blocking for this season.
