PARTY LOOK #2
Is everyone else feeling this festive cheer? I have certainly been feeling the festive sandwiches and tasty Christmas bits in Marks and Spencer! And please tell me you are testing out as many mince pies as me.. I have well and truly gone overboard this year and it's not even the big day yet!
Anyway apart from me pigging out at every opportunity, I am loving what the high street has on offer for party wear. I got so excited when I went shopping and bought things that I don't actually have an event to wear it for but just wanted to parade around my flat in something nice. Beaded maxi dresses are beautiful but they are not practical for an office party or drinks after work. So here I thought I would show you guys a favourite after work party look of mine, all you have to do is change into a new top and heels and off onto the dancefloor you go!
One of the reasons I just love this look is because of these cutoff jeans. They sit perfectly at the ankle and have a slight flare to the edge. They give a nod to the early 00's Levi twist jeans but with a straight leg finish. Carrying on reminiscing to fashions past, just look at this 80's puff sleeve top from Zara, these are inspired by Hedi Slimane's last collection with Saint Laurent. I am just in love with this shiny off the shoulder number! To bring this look together I have worn my 'fugly' velvet mules and a leather tie choker. I hope you guys love this look as much as I did creating it! Let me know your thoughts below.
