PALM PRINTS

Carrying on from my last post about the Matisse-inspired paper cut trend, I have created my weekly wishlist around palm prints which lends itself perfectly to this trend. I am naturally drawn to palm prints for summer but I really like the take some high street stores have down for a summer wardrobe update. Here retailers such as Whistles have created painterly drawn prints in mono tone colours for a subtle version of this trend, whereas Warehouse have used a more traditional colour palette with the green and black. The key look is overall quite boyish with culotte shorts, sweatshirts and a modern twist on a Hawaii shirt - for a striking look go for full co-ord look with colour-cordnated accessories.

What are your thoughts on this emerging trend? Is this something you will invest in?
