OLD MEETS NEW
Happy Tuesday guys, hope you had a lovely bank holiday weekend!
We had a very chilled one and spent most of it eating, not that I’m complaining.. after not tasting a single thing this past week from a cold. The last bank holiday of the summer always makes a turning point of the year, the days are shorter and it feels a little chiller. I am already on the hunt for some autumnal pieces for my A/W wardrobe and if you missed it I talked about these items in my last inspiration post.
Today’s post is carrying on from that with the return of long sleeve tops. In fact for long sleeve ribbed tops, they are the perfect move on from my usual t-shirt and they look so smart with jeans and boots. I found this love for them after a sale purchase a couple of years ago in H&M and ever since then I’ve always been on the look out for more versions. This season the autumnal colours seem deep and darker and Topshop have really shown this in there basic collection which includes this dark green top. Of course I’ve paired it with an old favourite pair of vintage Levi jeans and my trustee black suede boots.
As much as Bernard is a great accessory to any outfit, I decided to take out my newest addition to my handbag collection, this Paul’s Boutique Prue bag. I honestly think this bag is a great take on the bracelet bag that Chloe created, but at a fraction of the price. It has beautiful gold metal work that sits perfectly against the burgundy soft leather. Also the size of the bag is so deceptive, I could fit all of my usual items in plus extra bits and pieces for Bernard. A very lovely bag that I will be using a lot this winter.
As much as I do love my DSLR camera for shoots, I am loving experimenting with my film camera more. If you like what you see or have any comments do let me know below.
