When shopping, like most people, I tend to gravitate to the same stores and brands on the high street. Mainly because I know their sizes fit my shape but also because I know they will normally have at least one style in a store that I love. This season I really want to change things up and try new stores that are out of my comfort zone. So for my first new store, I decided to start with Marks and Spencer. Now for me, I love the homeware section they have available, including the sheets for bedding and of course, the M&S food which is always so good. Knowing how good the quality of the areas I shop in already it made sense to out their clothing.
I was very impressed at the diverse range of clothing they have in store. A key section that stood out for me was Autograph and how directional they have taken their pieces within this range, which have clearly been influneced by the catwalks. Another area that had some beautiful pieces was the Limited Edition range, which has a younger look and feel to the product. I would say that Marks and Spencer have really stepped it up for this season, with some pieces rivalling stores such as & Other Stories and Topshop boutique.
From shopping round the store I came across this bell sleeve top. I really love the small ruffle details at the seams and the deep yellow colouring, which sits great against my black mom jeans and the leather jacket. Adding the maroon coloured boots really finishes the outfit off nicely. I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit and if you plan to break out of the mould and try new stores that you wouldn't normally shop in?
