We are well and truly in the midst of our Christmas holidays, that bit in between Christmas and New Year where you don't know what day it is and how much you should really be eating after binging over the holidays. This part of the Christmas holiday for me is where I feel it's time to head back home, try to start resume a normal pace of life and crucially a heathly diet.
Before I jump straight into a new gym regime and start downing uber healthy smoothies I felt I really needed to take some time off to actually relax. This year has been a funny old one, with so many changes of design jobs and being offered more opportunities than ever before with my blog, I was starting to feel worn out on the lead up to Christmas. So my decision to take time from all forms of social media and blogging felt well and truly earnt and I have loved every minute of it.
When I am at my most chilled out ideas for new posts come into my head, as a creative person I find inspiration can come from anywhere and at the most random times. I suppose my mind never really turns off from fashion but after this mini break I feel ready to start the new year with lots of ideas for you guys and new platforms.
On that note here is a little outfit I put together while on my Christmas holiday. Still loving these cut off godet jeans by Topshop, I wore them here for a party look. They have seen me through the holidays, travelling from one place to the next. I have teamed them with my long sleeved woven top by Zara and this short shearling coat by Warehouse - which was sale purchase, it was half price of the Warehouse website! To finish the whole look off I have worn my black patent leather sock boots and my cross the body day bag by Alexander Wang. Let me know how your holidays went and what exciting new things you might have planned for the new year ahead!
