Taking the night off felt very well deserved last night. I spent my Tuesday evening catching up with an old friend, exchanging all the gossip and reminiscing about old times. It's always lovely seeing old friends, but we always end up two bottles of wine down by the end and so I was nursing a wine fuelled headache today.. Not ideal for a busy Wednesday in work but I managed to eat my way through the pain!
Anyway today's post I thought I would bring two looks from the brand Tobi, in one big blog post. When Tobi kindly reached out to me I didn't just want to show you individual looks. Instead I wanted to create something different to inspire anyone feeling they don't get the most out of there wardrobe. The challenge I set myself was style up summery pieces within two winter looks, to show you guys how you can make any piece work all year round. The detail is in the layering!
For the first look I have gone for tones of blue and teamed my vintage Levi's with a slinky long sleeve blouse. The stripe dress by Tobi, I have here turned into a top. With Cani dresses and a varsity piece within your wardrobe and I encourage you to experiment with them as your layering piece in an outfit. What's more they are normally made of light summery fabrics so great for pairing with jeans.
he second layered look is with this wrap woven dress that I've have again turned into a top. With this particular piece I found it really easy to place over the top of roll neck tops and you could wear this piece in the winter as a dress and knee high boots. Here I've gone for more of a work wear look and teamed the dress with a black knitted top and a pair of prince of wales check trousers. A very beige outfit, but an easy colour palette for work.
I would love to know your thoughts on this brand and the outfits? How you making the most of your seasonal pieces?
