For this week's high-end versus high street wishlist I wanted to bring back some colour into the look. At the moment I have seen so many bloggers and people out and about with rust coloured coats and jackets. This beautiful shade of rust was featured across the autumn/winter catwalks and has now trickled down onto the high street. So I decided to create autumnal colourful outfit wishlist, from my love of the colour rust.
For the high-end outfit, I will start with this double breasted rust coloured coat. The colour of this is just stunning but I also love the masculine look to this coat. It would be a great versatile piece to have in your wardrobe. I have teamed it with the Vetement reworked jeans for a casual look. The cut of this jean is refreshing and new, from the seam detail right down to the stepped hem. Vetements have taken a classic and revamped it, I feel this look will be around for a long time. For the top, I have picked out a v neck bell sleeve style blouse. The v neck is a key feature for tops this season going through into spring/summer and it lends itself well to these pair of jeans. For the finishing touches, I picked out these leopard print ankle boots, mainly because I have a thing for animal print but also because I love Saint Laurent. Even if I don't own anything by them, they are a great inspiration for when I am feeling uninspired. The final touch is this cross-the-body bag by Alexander Wang. This is a gorgeous compact bag that is perfect for wearing across the body and gives a slight edge to the whole look.
For my high street version of this look, have opted for this coat from Mango which is a great dupe of the designer rust coat. In this picture is looks a little lighter but in real life, this coat is the same deep coloured rust as the designer version. Here I found a great designer dupe of the Vetements jeans from H&M, with a more distressed look to the fabric. I actually prefer the high street version of the jeans thanks to the colour! For the top, I found this great piece from Zara, which has a v neck, bell sleeves and an extra detail of a choker. I think this is a great styling difference and gives a 90's feel to the style. For the final touches to this high street version, I found these leopard print boots in Topshop at a fraction of the price and this miniature across the body box bag from Zara. Both are a great high street version of the designer styles. Please let me know which outfit you prefer and have you bought into any of these trends?
