FRENCHIES, CORSETS AND PUPPY KISSES
A very Happy Monday guys! I am ready for this week and have lots of exciting content to bring to you. But first, let me tell you about the little guy me and Joe have adopted. He is a brindle coloured french bulldog called Bernard. We have wanted a dog for so long and did so much research before getting the little guy, so it feels so much worth it! But one thing I wasn't expecting was how much of a mum I would feel. I have looked after a cat before but this is something else. I'm talking toilet breaks in the middle of the night, crying like a crazy gremlin when we leave him alone in a room and missing him loads when I have to go to work! It's been a hard week getting him settled in but that cute little face makes it all worth it. I have definitely fallen in love with little Bernard! You can find him over on Instagram and follow his daily adventures.
Even though I now have a fur baby, I am of course still finding the time to put together outfits. Like every blogger out there I am always wanting to improve my blog in one way or another. So for this post and another one coming up this week, I have decided to work with my friend Charlotte who is a photographer and I am so pleased with the outcome! As well as the pictures themselves, I actually really enjoyed putting together this look.
The main focus of this outfit is the corset belt over the top of the cream sweatshirt. I didn't think I would ever buy into this particular trend as I felt it never seem to fit into my style. But then I saw this sweater in Pull and Bear and instantly loved their take on this trend. As the corset belt is such a beautiful feature to the top I have kept my outfit very simple and just teamed it with these raw hem jeans and sock boots. Let me know your thoughts on this trend if you like it or not!
