I had one of those moments last week where I was flicking through my Instagram page and thought nearly every outfit I had on involved some form of denim. Now I'm the first to hold my hands up and say I love denim but it has got to a point where I'm wearing jeans every day. You know when you do something you love so much you eventually become sick of it, that's how I felt last week! It had become denim overload, I needed a break so I didn't get that sickly feeling and so you guys see that I'm not just a one trick pony!

This no denim challenge can prove to be a little tricky when it's 7am and you are half asleep getting dressed as the first thing I normally reach for is my jeans. It makes you stop and think about what items in your wardrobe work together. Making you really consider your whole outfit, instead of just wearing your trusty jeans and t-shirt. Keeping on 'trend' with this seasons colours forest green and red, I created this fun yet cooperate look that I wore to work. At first I was going to team these forest green trousers with a dark red top, until I realised I would be a walking advert for Christmas (too soon). So here I have on this fine orange knit. Normally I shy away from such a bright colours but I just really love the feel and look of this top, plus it sits perfectly against the forest green trousers. Lastly let's talk about this winter coat from Boohoo. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I would love this jacket, I've found it to go with pretty much anything I throw it over. I had a feeling it would be more of a weekend coat but it has proven itself to complement this look. And it's an absolute steal at £40 pounds, well done Boohoo!

Anyway, let me know if you feel like you wear denim too much and I would love to know your thoughts on this no denim look?
