FARFETCH - THE INSIDERS GUIDE TO SS16
This post is all about changing up your wardrobe and injecting some newness to it with the help of Farfetch. As you guys already know I only like to follow a couple of trends each season that are still in keeping with my current basics and essential items. Below is an insider guide by Farfetch on key trends they feel are strong for this years summer season. Some of the industries top fashionistas are pushing trends like the pyjama two piece from Valentino and the off the shoulder look, which has translated from the catwalk straight down to the high street.
Blogging for me is a great way to express my love for certain trends I feel for and brands I believe in. Working within the fashion industry I start the design process by researching the catwalk and watching trends start to unfold is one of the most exciting parts of my job. So from having all this information I felt like I needed an outlet and that is why I started my blog. It is a way of expressing my love for fashion and brands I believe in!
''Fashion fades, style is eternal.'' Sara Azani from Style MBA
The first wish list has a edgy chic style and inspired by the blogger Sara Arani. If you haven't check her out before then head over to her blog Style MBA to see her sleek city style. This outfit would be my ideal outfit for so many different events. All the pieces I have picked out can easily be interjected with my wardrobe. The off the shoulder top is a key piece for updating your look and is so easily worn here with these raw edge jeans for a fresh take on spring jeans. I wanted my accessories to pop against the muted tones so I picked out this pale blue handbag, green cat eye earrings and these bright orange mules. Another key and beautiful trend for S.S 16! To finish this outfit off I have added a long line blazer for a sleek finish.
This second outfit has more for a festival vibe, with all these items from various boutiques across London. In the summer I like to play around with different tops with cut off shorts. These Alexander Wang cut offs are so dreamy and teamed with this extreme bow top make a prefect outfit for the summer. I still love my black boots and can't get enough of these buckle western style boots to go with this outfit. To finish this look off a simple choker and a small leather over the shoulder tote, which is just big enough to carry a pair of sunnies, phone and little purse! What's so great about these items is that you can visit all the stores and try out these stunning pieces. Let me know your thoughts on both outfits.
