CRINKLE EFFECT

This week I took a long hard look at my design website and the work I have been producing since becoming freelance. I decided I have been creating pieces that don't have a particularly distinctive style and I've been creating pieces that I don't actually enjoy that much. So I've stripped back my way of working, I've gone back to just sketching and perfecting my mark-making before creating full prints. I have also been listening to a very inspiring series of podcasts called 'Make It Happen' from Jen Carrington. These podcasts are all about how to turn your blog or business into a success and taking things back a step but in the long run pushing you closer to your dreams for your business. I would really recommend giving them a listen to if you want to take the next step with your website!

Anyway back to this outfit, you can't really see in these photos but the top I am wearing is a crinkle black fabric with dip hemline to the back. This top had a matching crinkle midi skirt but together they didnt look quite right on me, in fact it made me look like something my grandma would wear, not cool! So I teamed this top with my crushed velvet leggings and these black loafers. To finish this outfit off I've gone with three triangle layered necklaces, I am totally obessed with triangle jewellery at the moment and find it catching my eye everytime. I really want to know your thoughts on this outfit and if you have any thoughts on the creative view?
