Spring is definitely here, the change in weather and shedding that winter coat puts a spring in my step. I find it is always a great time for me to reflect on the last three months and make plans for the rest of the year. It's around this time of year I started to get super excited for festival season. Glastonbury announced their line -up this week making it seem very real and close to summer being here.
On reflection me and Joe have had a massive change to our lives introducing Bernard a little French bulldog to our house. This has been super challenging but amazing at the same time. Our little frenchie bloody loves cuddles and slowly but surely we have got into a routine again, although I need to head back to the gym to work on my summer body for all the festival outfits I want to wear for Glastonbury!
Feeling ready for this season I thought I would embrace the bold colourful trend which has trickled down from the catwalks onto the high street. I've seen some major high street stores such as Topshop and Zara push this trend and if you feel bold enough to embrace this trend then there is a lot of bold colourful pieces out there. I decided to embrace the trend with this green ruffle cold shoulder shirt and teamed it with these raw hem dark denim jeans. For a final touch to this look, I have worn my red suede boots for a full colour block outfit. I have put together some other colour blocking items below. I would love to know your thoughts on colour blocking and if you see yourself investing in this trend?
