BAND TEES & VELVET BOOTS

For the past couple of years, I have slowly been building up my collection of band tees. I now have quite a big collection but I always like to add in new ones all the time. I get a lot of inspiration for vintage printed t-shirts on Pinterest, I have a board dedicated just to band tees as I love them so much! When I saw The Rolling Stones tee in Zara I had to purchase it as I loved the new image of the band and the logo, making the whole t-shirt look fresh. The Rolling Stones take me back to my childhood and listening to them with my dad. A real highlight for me was seeing them live in 2013, headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. Nothing can beat watching one of your favourite bands playing live in concert!

The look that I have created here has been inspired by the catwalks. Mixing two key trends for this season; band tees and velvet boots. I have gone for an all over black look, which for me is an easy go-to outfit that I would wear from day to evening. Here I have teamed this printed band t-shirt with these wide culottes and my trusty leather jacket. It is an all black style outfit apart from the boots. For a small pop of colour I have added these autumnal green velvet boots from Ego Shoes. The boots finish this look off perfectly and they are just the right height for a day to evening boot. They are a comfy pair of boots for running around town and I love the finish of the velvet, giving a two tone look to the colour. Let me know your thoughts on this look and if you like either the band tee trend or the velvet boots.
