Living in London has many benefits, from great transport links to the endless choices of places to eat. But one thing I do love about London is that the weather is always slightly warmer than the rest of the country! The weather for October has been 'unseasonably' warm meaning I haven't had to reach for my winter coat just yet. Making the most of this warm, sunny weather I have still been venturing out in my leather and bomber jackets. I have been using this time to play around with different style ideas to create new looks that you can only wear this time of year. Mixing both workwear and casual attire to create a cosy yet sophisticated look, this outfit bridges that gap between our autumnal and winter season.
For smartly tailored trousers I have been looking towards Marks and Spencers collection for this season. Traditionally in the past, I remember my mum buying school uniforms for me and my brother and now as an adult, I am going back to them for workwear style pieces. These stripe wool trousers are so comfy and have the perfect smart look I like for work. Here I decided to mix things up and teamed them with this casual grey marl hoodie. Inspired by the street style looks from the catwalks I thought this look is a fresh new way to style a hoodie. For final touches, I have teamed a leather biker jacket and my beloved Alexander Wang handbag to give an edgy finish to this outfit. I would know your thoughts on this outfit and what inspires you when deciding what to buy for a new season.
