REVIEW OF 2015
What a crazy year! For me 2015 was such a year of mixed emotions, with some incredible highs to some real lows but one things for sure it was definitely an end of an era and it proved to be a year I will not forget. I wanted to included in this post some of my favourite outfits from the past year; a little review to what I think are my best outfits. Looking back through my outfit posts I can see how much my photograpghy and editing skills have improved. Investing in a good camera was key and reading up on how to use this piece of equipment is always helpful, but I still feel there is more to learn. As I get older I have become more comfortable within my own skin and in turn this has made it easier with the choices I've had to make this last year. I have had my first experience of being made redundant and even though I wanted to scream in their faces I took it on the chin and left the company with my head held high. This decision forced me into revaluating what I wanted from my career in fashion and one option that I probably wouldn't have taken at this point in my life was to go freelance. So as I left my last company at the end of September I turned thirty a couple of days later, a new era of my life! With a mixture of excitement and nerves I have entered a new chapter and whilst its taken me three months to get on my feet, I am excited for the year ahead and the plans I have for my freelance work. As for my blog I have gone from strength to strength with my content and I been invited along to some amazing events by Topshop and Farfetch. To end the year I won style blogger for December for an online German magazine, which proves you never know who is looking at your work or blog! I hope 2016 brings even more excitement for both my work and blog!
Happy New Year!
